Core Values
Spiritual and emotional intimacy is the root of all health and loving relationships. By increasing our ability to let divine love, wisdom and power flow through us, we all benefit: individuals, families, communities and the world.
Relationships – I celebrate relationships that promote intimacy, healing, creativity, prosperity, and well-being.
Excellence – I aspire to be my most Authentic Self, and I inspire others to do the same.
Human Potential – I encourage people to pursue their dreams and develop their gifts in the service of the whole.
Reverence – I believe that each person is sacred and I honor their evolutionary path.
Community – I collaborate with others to improve the quality of life.
Justice – I advocate for a society in which everyone can realize their full potential and contribute to a flourishing planet.
Courage – I dare to take the risks my faith and values demand of me.
Integrity – I keep my word and walk my talk.
Compassion – I am moved by human suffering and strive toward wholeness of body, mind and spirit.
Environment – I care for the environment because I love Nature and understand the inter-connectedness of all life.
My calling is to help make the world a better place. There are two ways I fulfill this calling.
First, I am a conduit for God’s healing grace to transform lives. The major focus of my work is to help people discover their true identity, as God made them to be, their Authentic Self. As intimacy builds with God and our loved ones, comfort increases, loneliness subsides, and love flourishes from the deep reservoir within.
Being perfect is no longer necessary for a sense of well-being. Addictions diminish. Humility flows as we listen to the voices of our wise leaders and teachers. We manage our relationships, our careers and our wealth from our relationship with God. We cultivate our gifts not because we expect that success will bring us happiness, but because we are happy expressing our gifts from divine alignment. We shine, we glow, and we flow from this intimacy. Health stems from the loving relationship with our Creator.
I am a Christian. Having said that, there are all kinds of Christians, so please do not stereotype me. I respect people of all spiritual paths and I am open-minded. I do not hold myself to be better than anyone. I am not here to judge others. I am here to discern which of my attitudes and behaviors are congruent with pure love and which are not, and I help others do the same. I was raised in the United Methodist Church, and I am a member of the Episcopal Church. If you tend toward legalistic thinking, you won’t like working with me. I offer Christian counseling throughout Georgia and North Carolina via Zoom video-conference. I honor people of all faiths that are consistent with unconditional love.
Second, I work toward being the best person I can be. I call this my Authentic Self. This requires on-going observation of my motives, thoughts, feelings and behaviors. I ask, “Am I coming from my Authentic Self or am I coming from my Adapted Self?” Sometimes I am not sure, but I always ask myself about it. I tune into God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit who lives within me. I ask for direction. I pray. I give thanks for being loved unconditionally, even when I cannot love others or myself the way God loves me.
When I try to move through life without an intimate relationship with the Trinity, I set myself up to be lonely, egotistical and ill. When I remember to be a servant leader, I experience inner peace. I pray that God’s will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. I pray to be an instrument of God’s peace, love, and wisdom. I ask for the Holy Spirit to fill me and move through me for the highest good of all. God is my source of life, love and happiness.
Sometimes life is easy and blissful, and sometimes I am challenged to come beyond my limited notion of who I am. I am called to know my true identity as God knows me, my Authentic Self.
When we choose to love God and build loving relationships with each other based on our intimacy with God, we naturally experience more ease, joy, creativity and prosperity. By being our Authentic Selves, we contribute richly to the elevation of human consciousness.

Even when we are afraid that we will lose our way through the darkness, if we keep listening, keep praying and stay present, God will always show us the way into the light. ~Benita A. Esposito, MA, LPC, LCMHC
